Experience

Catherine has been a qualified occupational therapist since 2001. Throughout her career, she has provided care in a variety of hospital settings, including specialist medical wards the medical assessment unit, orthopaedics, respiratory, cardiology, and oncology/haematology. In addition, Catherine was part of the Aged Care Assessment Team, where she conducted comprehensive assessments. She provided community-based rehabilitation including the establishment of an occupational therapy service for the Qld Pelvic Mesh Service. Catherine was also a part of the functional capacity assessment pilot program for the National Disability Insurance Agency. Today, she continues to expand her knowledge and skills through her lecturing role at Griffith University and clinical work at an acute hospital,

Catherine is a member of the SIRA panel of health practitioners authorised to give evidence.
