Lisa Channon is a senior occupational therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience, including nearly two decades at John Hunter Hospital, where she led multidisciplinary teams and delivered care across acute, rehabilitation, and specialist medical wards. In 2023, Lisa joined Interface Med Legal, bringing her broad clinical expertise into the medicolegal context.
Lisa provides detailed assessments, considering the impact of injury across home, work, and community domains. Her reports are evidence-based and practical, supported by extensive hands-on experience in areas such as orthopaedics, neurology, respiratory disease, renal care, cardiology, and mental health.
She has also conducted assessments and contributed reports for the NDIS and Guardianship Tribunal, with particular skill in evaluating cognitive function, mental state, decision-making capacity, and psychosocial impact. Her reports are informed by two decades of hospital and community-based practice.
